Wish list - Design Book Love!

Did I mention that I find books inspiring and rely on them as my source of creativity? If you have been reading my blog, you know I say it very often! My collection of interior design books however is near non-existant, so here are my first picks.

Wish List - quilting fabric

We are about to start a new project with our Friday Night Crafting Club. Sonya is leading us into a hexagon quilting adventure. I am excited because I have been thinking about making a baby quilt for quite some time and the hexagon quilt sounds lovely to me!
I am now thinking about the fabric colors and patterns I want to use. There is this store on Etsy called Freshly Squeezed Fabrics that had me drooling over their fabric bundles like this one.

As soon as I thought of quilting, this was my first choice of fabric! This bundle is just so juicy and colorful! I fell in love with it at first sight. The only problem is it is very girly, and my deal with baby things I make, I don't use baby blue or pink so that it can be used by both boy or a girl. This bundle is just so girly, but I can't resist it!
Another bundle I fell in love with is from Purl Soho, of course, and it is solids in red to yellow spectrum! This one can be used by both genders and many more patterns can be used with it.

This is all I have for now. I also want to just go to local fabric stores and see if I can get some ideas for a theme there.

Wish List - books

Update: I ended up buying them all from zulily! Woot! I have mentioned many times before - I am a sucker for good books! I love to read and I hope some day to have a big private library of my own. I am also collecting a little library of crafting books. I can't help myself, their beautiful projects and photos lure me in! Well, my favorite store, Zulili.com has a sale on some great crafting books! They are an awesome source of mostly baby things but anything women like really, with the hottest deals and amazing customer service!I found myself mostly interested in home and family crafts with kids. You can register and check them out here if you would like. Here are a couple I am contemplating on buying, you only get so much time to think about it, since their deals are short...

Wish list: photography

It has been a rough week, so I don't have much to show for myself... hence all the wish list posts. One can still dream, right? So here is one for photography - another passion of mine, that started about three years ago with my first DSLR camera - a gift from my dad. All of these are from photojojo.com (a place that a photography fanatic like me shouldn't even look at to avoid extensive drooling).

Polaroid Z2300  makes me want to cry, I want it so bad! It is beautifully designed, awesomely fun, and gives huge amount of possibilities for creativity! Same goes for Zumi. My dream is to enhance my photography experience with the Polaroid and start taking videos with Zumi. All I need now is... money! Or maybe somebody very very loving (hint hint ;) )

Wish list: miniatures

I love my little blog, writing in it inspires me and leaves a little trace of memories to follow. I figured I can also use it as my wish list as it I have very specific wants and I like to keep track of them. Using a separate website proved to be cumbersome, I just don't go there often enough and tend to forget about it. It seems that this blog of mine would be a good place to record my wishes.
So here is first set that has to do with my doll house that I am yet to improve substantially...

There is much more to be purchased like floors, tiles, and the most important thing a lighting kit, which brought a whole project to a stop (I can't continue putting floors and wall paper in because the lights have to be installed first). I made a list of things that need to be purchased or made in my project book.
These things range from under $10 to up to a $100, yet any of these would inspire me to do more in this project of mine. Right now I feel a bit overwhelmed.
